I am directed by the Earl of Clarendon to acquaint you, for the information of Lord Granville, that he has received a note from the Spanish Minister at this Court, stating that Don Fermin de Salazar y de Tejada has been appointed Spanish Vice Consul at Hong Kong, and requesting that Her Majesty's Exequatur may be issued to that Gentleman to enable him to act in the above capacity;
Lord Granville is requested to inform Lord Clarendon if there is any objection to the issue of such Exequatur to Don de Tejada, who is not resident at Hongkong.
