英大學與理工學院
全採取統一收生法
投考英国的大學或理工學院,除了兩年亂的 BUCKINGHAM 大學外,全部採用統一收生辦 法,由英國理工及大學入學處理中心(PCAS及 UCCA)集中處理所有向理工學院及大學申請入 讚學士學位課程的申請書。
兩會制度雖然不同,但極為相似,其主要的分別 是PCAS准許在一張申請表内境上四間不同的 理工學院, UCCA 則容許申請者選擇五間不 同的大學。
申請時,要注意下列各點:
(申請人只可填寫PCAS及UCCA 申請書各一
{}百分之八十五的申請人,在投帝GCE A LEVEL或其他考試榜放前,已提出申請。這些 申請人申請備取資格,希望您日後考試結果放榜 成績,而奪取正式取錄入學資格(例如 GCE A LEVEL 考試獲 A/B/C成績 )
(三)如考生所申請的五所大學中,有牛津劍橋大 學在內,UCCA表格必須在十月十五日前遞 交;若申請時沒有該兩所大學,最遲可在十二月 十五日前遞交口
(四)申請入讀英國大學的 UCCA表格,通常在二 月十五日截止,如果逾期申請,考生可在三月三 十一日前遞交表格,UCCA仍然會將有關申請
·轉到洛大學。但熱門的科目如法律、醫學、就 科、商管、會計、財務等科目,競爭劇烈,期 申請獲入學的機會不大;但理科科目,如數理化 或工程系的土木工程,較容易取錄。
国每年五月十五日及以後,無論申請人願意與 否,只可在 PCAS 及UCCA保留兩個備取生資 裕,擁有兩間學府入學權利。
六兩個備取資格中,其中一個依學生的第一位顧 鐵定不改,第二意願作為後崝之用(即申請前者' 失敗作後備之用)。兩個已訂的螺格一經决定不 能更改,因此,若兩間學校同時錄取,申請人亦 不能改變主意,選擇後者而放棄海者。
(t)申請者遞交UCCA表格後,不幸五所大學都 不取錄,那麼可用CAP(CONTINUING AP PLICATION PROCEDURE)辦法,再現消外 四所大學申請。不過,UCCA只會把申請遞給

申請日期如下:
九月一日開始接受申請在一年後開的課程。 十月十五日 牛津大學及劍橋大學截止申請日 期。 十二月十五日 所有其他學府的第一次止申請 日期。
三月三十一日 末期截止申請日期,各學府仍接 受入學申請第二限期。除牛津及劍橋太變外,大 多數大學希望在這時接受到申請到以都帶閱 五月十五日 申请人接到通知進行扶续,都後珧 選變府日期。如課程尚有空缺,遲至八、九問 學期開始前,校方仍會接受申請;但熱門號 程,必須提早申講。

Aberdeen and Dundee, The College provides professional training
for Primary and Secondary school teachers, Community
Education workers and Social workers. This takes the form of full time courses up to and including degree level together with a wide yariety of part time and distance learning courses. Training is provided both for students wishing to enter these professions and on an in service basis for qualified practitioners.
The College currently offers a 4 year Bachelor of Education Degree course for prospective Primary teachers at both the Aberdeen and Dundee campuses. A4ear Bachelor of Education Degree for prospective Music teachers is availiable from the Abeerdeen campus. A one year Post Graduate Certificate in Education for prospective Primary teachers is available on both campuses. A one uear Post Graduate Certificate in Education for prospective Secondary teachers of most subjects (now including History, Geography, Modern Studies and Technological Education) is available on the Aberdeen campals. A 2 or 3 year couse leading to a Diploma in Community Education is available on the Dundee campus, as is a one year Fost Graduate Certificate in Community Education. A 2 year course leading to the Diploma. in Social Work is availiable on both Aberden and Dundee
campus. together with alternative routes to qualification for staff already employed in this field. A wide variety of in service courses are offered to practitioners in each of these professions and the College is always prepared to respond to demands from the prefessions for new or modified courses.

報讀不同種類課程 須投考有關公開試
投考美國學校,無論是中學、兩年制學院、大学 茂研究所,都要按該校的入學資格,考取美國的 公開試。各類的公開試詳列如下:
(一) TOEFL (THE TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE)一主要測量學生的热 語能力,考試分三部份:一聽覺理解力、二英文: 語體結構、回不及閱讀理解力。考試需要三個 小時,全部足選擇題。
本年三月十一日及五月十二日的托雜訊,還有英 語寫作,測驗考生的組織能力及英文的表達能 力,所得的分數不會影響托福試的分數。
此外,考試的積分由二百至八百,大部份美國的 學校要求申請者達到四百五十至五百五十分以 上;有些學校亦會取錄積分較低申請者,但但必須 先人證英語課。考試費美金二十九元(港幣二 百二十八元 ),如選擇在星期五考試,則要美金 三十七元(濑幣二百八十八元)

SAT試 THE SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE

MT試(MILLER ANALOGIES TEST)屬商 級變能傾向測驗,主要針對語言指理的測驗,還 合報讀心檢學或教育課程者西該試非定期舉行,
浪投音者,可個別去函美國心理學組織,辦理手
稻及安排特別的海外考試。
