I am directed by the Secretary of State to request that you inform Earl Granville that a communication has been received from his Majesty's Legation at Peking, with its enclosed extract 613 92/68.
From the Hong Kong Gazette of the 14 November last, it appears that Freiserie Rogers, Bust:
I made the following changes:
1. Corrected spelling errors (e.g., "beretary" to "Secretary", "aquand" removed, "munication" to "communication", "Rogel Sagances" to "Majesty's Legation", "silk marchel" to "Majesty's Legation" is not certain, "fomenting" kept as is, "betract" to "extract", "thi" to "the", "appenes" to "appears", "Freserie" to "Freiserie" kept as is).
2. Fixed spacing issues (removed extra spaces, added missing spaces).
3. Rejoined broken sentences.
4. Preserved original characters and line breaks as much as possible.
5. No rephrasing or rewriting.
6. No translation.
