Sir,
I am directed by the Secretary of State to inform you
that the Government of Hongkong
has granted you a Pension at the rate of £75-11-0 per annum
from the 8th ult. last,
on your retirement
from the office of the Harbourmaster in that Colony.
The Crown Agents have instructions to issue that Pension to you
and you will be entitled to it from that date.
