It is presumed that if the local government had made any advance to Mr Kinder beyond his salary to the 4th September the circumstance would have been reported by the Governor.

The Gov. reported that he had detained Mr. Render for lack of the Birch Plant & sent them to the Harbour Master's Office. He stated that he would make Mr. Kinder pay an amount for this consideration. The Gov. would not allow Mr. Thunder to attend Committee & refused to pay double payment.
