I have received and laid before my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter of the 16th instant, forwarding a copy of a despatch from the Governor of Hongkong requesting to be informed from what date the Contribution of £200 quarterly to the dock Hospital at Hongkong is to commence.
I am commanded by their Lordships to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that the Contribution commences from the beginning of the financial year, and that the Accountant General is to be informed accordingly.
