Your Churchmanship. Though licent Clergymen, by reason of certain special

Circumstances, you are still

bound by the requirements of your ordination to remember that you are the clergy of the Episcopal Church. And in virtue of such relationship, while the Bishop is bound to recognize your standing and to advise and assist you as circumstances may require, it is your duty by due recognition of his presence, by cultivating his friendship, by attending (when required to do so) his Visitation, and exhibiting your credentials to approve your status as Clergymen, not of the Army or the Navy, though ministering in their Service, but as clergymen of the United Church of England and Ireland.
