67.0. letter of 31st July that the foregoing, in reply to the reference made to him on the subject, stated that the Council in voting on the pension for which under the Ordinance he might have been eligible, treated his case leniently and that there was no ground for the Secretary of State to interfere further in his behalf.
And that his late husband's naval services do not claim upon the Colonial Fund & that the original testimonials are in 8404.
