OFFICE OF SURVEYOR GENERAL ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSE NECESSARY TO BE INCURRED FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL DATED June 23rd Quarters for the Gaol Staff - 1869.

C. $ This estimate provides for adding an additional storey to the house of the Superintendent of the Gaol, and to the quarters for Turnley's Bricklayer, also for creating a verandah on the East side of the Superintendent's house, and on the North side of Turnley's quarters. The building will be brick, plastered except the lower portion of the piers of the verandah, which are of granite. The floors of the verandahs are to be laid with tiles. The roofs of both buildings are to be flat, and covered with tiles, to avoid shutting out air from the adjacent buildings. The sum of $28,000 is provided in the Estimates for 1869, for a New Magistracy. Quarters for Gaol staff.
