Lift Ministarol lift the 30-month allowance, or $924.74.
Under the Colonial Regulations I have to claim one month's pay for every year of service, or, after deducting half pay fixed to Mr. McCorsom, $1718.06. In the event of my receiving this amount I shall be prepared not only to give up the whole of my time to Messrs. McCorsom until the 30th instant, but to afford him any further information from time to time which he may require, and without which, it will be impossible for him to complete Public Works.
I must respectfully decline to receive salary from the Government from the date of my handing over charge as Surveyor General.
