I reluctantly feel that it is necessary for the discipline

of the force to make such a distinction, and though I do not

trouble

your Lordship with, and gladly avoid recording, all the circumstances of Mr. Jarman's

case, I am of course quite prepared to supplement this

5. Mr Jarman has been paid in full all Salary due to the

21st day of his resignation and also £118.15.0, being one third of the passage money for himself and family to Europe by P. & O. Steamer, and I presume on his arrival in England and reporting himself, he will be permitted to draw from the Crown Agents his proposed Pension of £138. 14. 10 from the 23rd of last April
