The same Consul reports that the Beneficencia Publica of Callao of Lima has caused an asylum to be created for the reception of Sick Chinese unable to work. In view, therefore, of this information, I consider it a duty to apprise Your Excellency that I am about to direct the revocation of the Provisions contained in the Portaria of this Government issued on the 18th of November last, by which the engagement of laborers for Peru had been temporarily interdicted:
