HONGKONG.
I have the honour to report that I have visited the above Gaming houses at the times noted. I have noticed nothing unusual - every house being quiet and regular; there seem to be no suspicious servants frequenting the houses now. I have seen no visits although I have watched well for them.
Out of the numbers above given there have been very few of the respectable class. On the night of the 13th, I saw the District Officer in the Wing Kee Gaming House; he was looking out for thieves; he was not playing.
