The legal question put to me as to the admissibility in Evidence upon Criminal Trials of Statements or confessions made by prisoners in reply to questions put to them by Policemen without any previous caution, is one which has been much discussed in England and Ireland, and recently argued by me in the Supreme Court of this Colony.
