As there never had been any difference between myself and the Chief Justice, and the formality of written letters was dispensed with when practicable Mr. Dennis' report and my Memo, though both referring principally to other matters, were for the same reasons presently to appear my original Memo: Enclosure No 3 forwarded the day to the Chief Justice. Inclosure for which will refer to the papers to him.
