In reference to the correspondence on the subject of the Naval Fund Police, in connection with the disallowance by Her Majesty's Government of Ordinance No. 2 of 1867. I have now the honor to apprize you that in conformity with your suggestion of the 25th Instant, I have this day instructed the Captain Superintendent of the Police to discharge from the Colonial force all Naval Yard Police from the 14th Proximo.
