I beg to report having raided the public gambling houses during the past week as follows:

The gamblers were of the lowest class, and there were no valuables whatever stated.
I think there was a decided decrease in the number of gamblers, and a large quantity of females were present.
About the manner of the increase of gambling among boatmen, chair coolies, etc., as usual.
