MATERIALS TO BE PURCHASED. PARTICULARS. LABOUR $ c. 1. Arrangements having been made with the General Commanding the troops for Planting a certain portion of the Parade Ground, it has been decided to at once commence the work. This Estimate is in support of the expenditure which will be incurred and also provides for further Planting on the Road to the Peak and elsewhere. A sum of $900 will be sought in the Supplementary Estimates for this service. Purchase of 30 trees from Campbells or Burnside & Co. 225 0 Planting 80 Trees at $2.65c. so Coolies to be employed on the planting of Trees elsewhere as well as on the Parade Ground. 212 0 6 0 Approved, [signed] X.E.
