I have the honor to inform you that the Crown Agents have been instructed to comply with the Requisition enclosed in your Despatch No.652 of the 20th of February for Winter Clothing, equipments &c required for the Police force of Hongkong. They have also been directed to Communicate with the War Office as to the most effective and suitable Carbine for the Police force.
