LABOUR.

The Inspector's Quarters are now approaching completion and it has appeared desirable that the rooms and passages should be lighted with Gas.

A Light is proposed on the Ground Floor in the Engine Room, over the Entrance door and in the passage. On the 1st Floor, one in each of the Sitting rooms and one on the staircase. On the 2nd Floor, the same.

Laying on Gas Fittings, Suttering Down Spouting.

Sundry additions which have become necessary during erection of Building, the costs of Down spouting also included in this Estimate, as also the various small items which have become necessary during the progress of the works.

Provision for this expenditure, which is estimated at $500, will be made in the Supplementary Estimates.
