Commanding the "Hoogly" of his privilege
to hoist such a
flag.
The notes having been
intended as private
communications I could not forward them
as a
public despatch and such

I have the honor to be,
My Lord Duke,
Your Grace's most obedient
humble servant,
Roderick MacKenzie
