I have the honour to inform you with reference to your despatch No. 74389 dated 28 Oct last that I have by order extended to the 31 Oct the period of absence granted without salary to Lt. Bird of the Government boat No. Shamen & Bird.
I am losing a copy of the Medical Certificate with which Lt. Bird supported his application for extension when he was at Macao.
