The statement of the fact, that Mr. G. H. Heaton of Hongkong, had there, during the years 1863-1866, no official authority to issue certificates about the condition of merchandize is of great importance at a trial, which will take place on the 18th inst. in Oldenburg, and I should feel extremely obliged if I could be supplied with a copy of the statement, which I learn has been received as the C. O. to the effect, that Mr. Heaton has not authority to grant such Certificates.

I am, Sir,

your obedient servant,

AtAndresen
