Therefore the civil population may recur to Sir John Burgoyne. Such needs should be made good from local resources.

Charlton is so satisfied with the reasonableness of the demand that the Colony avail themselves, doubtless they gladly would do so in the present instance.

He will be glad if the Duke of Buckingham will give the subject his re-consideration.

Sir John Burgoyne considers it to be only an act of justice to the Colony that the Stores which are surplus should be made available.
