I am directed by the Secretary of State for War to acknowledge the receipt of your Letter of 15th Ultimo and to acquaint you in reply that Mr. John Kirkland has been authorised to issue to the Crown Agents for the Colonies, Spring Gardens, £8613.6s., being the amount due for sundry items of Building in East Point, Hong-Kong, during the year ended 31st December 1867.
