With reference to your letter of 24.884/68 the 19th Inst., transmitting copy of a letter from the Colonial Office respecting the sale of the machinery of the Hong Kong Mint, and requesting that the Lords Commissioners of Her M. Treasury may be furnished as early as convenient, with any information I may be in possession of to enable their Lordships to reply to the letter, I have the honor to inform you, premising that some delay has occurred in my reply owing to my writing to George Hamilton Esq.
