I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to transmit to you herewith, a copy of a letter which their Lordships have received from the Foreign Office representing the importance of W. Rennie the Colonial Audit of Hong Kong, remaining for a short time longer in England to assist in the organization of the Account Department of the Foreign Office.
