The City within the Colony of Victoria and the Territory comprised the Island of Hong Kong and its Dependencies shall be the Diocese of the Bishop named and of See therein and his Successors shall be called The Bishop of Victoria and to all time the Church of Saint John in the said City shall be a Cathedral Church and Bishop's See and the Reverend George Smith, Doctor in Divinity, shall be Ordained and Consecrated Bishop of the said See and Diocese for the term of his natural life under the Title of the Lord Bishop of Victoria subject nevertheless to such right of Resignation as is particularly set forth.
