I am desired to inform you that the
Colonial Government has
been authorized to close
the Mint,
and
thus
free the Revenues of the
Colony from the expense
attendant upon working that Establishment,
and I am to assure you that the whole
question
of the expenditure
of the Colony is
receiving the careful consideration of the
Secretary
of State
