Ww. white sent to inquire for an answer to this memorial, but it appeared that it had never been sent into the Registry or publicly received at the Office. I have been told personally that M. Matheson left it at this Office somewhere about the end of April. WW White has now procured the present copy, and perhaps you will be good enough to minute it in order that we may submit it to the Duke's directions. WW. White has expressed himself anxious for an answer.
