5. That a Draft Order in Council was annexed, regarding which question had arisen whether, looking to the terms of the Letters Patent, and the jurisdiction beyond the Diocese of Victoria which is given to the present Bishop of Victoria, any modification of such Letters Patent is necessary; whether the modification of the Order in Council of 1st May 1849, upon which such jurisdiction is based, will be sufficient to effect the desired object.
