The Peninsular and
Oriental Company's Engine which
broke
is of a medium size only, through the crust of the Rcond
at the last fire and was quilé disabled. With the large sized Engine this risk will of course be increased, but by stationing it in a central part of the town with plenty of hose I believe it will be of good service.
