I revived a few days ago (on the 18th and 26th instant) Your Excellency's despatches, Nos. 76, 98, and 99 of 18th and 26th July. These despatches announced the determination of Her Majesty's Government to insist on payment of the Military Contribution,
and indicated even the intention to charge interest also for all arrears.
