In Oct the Trin. pay this forfeit but described the amount paid the 1000 off into the Treasury & retained the balance $800 in his hand for 4 months until the mistake was discovered

Mr Ellest 23rd August Sum called on him the Treasury as 1000 dollars in front loan sehr very reason why he should have remembered every particular connected with those 2 transactions which he then received.

Then in a second somewhat similar case he retained #933 in his hands for nearly 6 months and that this sum was not paid into the Treasury in consequence of the enquiry which its retention occasioned. that the matter Escaped his collection,
