manifest the dependence of Aneurism, Paralysis, in men of Army ages,

Diseases of the Glandular Systems, Phthisis, and in short

tissue of the Body,

often otherwise untainted,

and still more

with scrofulous

or other pre-existing

taint, or antecedent Syphilis, which

often defies eradication for years,

for a life time.

(When it is further borne in mind, that the poison of Syphilis is transmissible from

one to

another, not alone by its primary

form,

but by

its secondary forms also, and

that it is, in all its duration

possible

to be a Source

of taint from parent

to Child, its existence and increasing
