In compliance with the wishes of His Excellency the Governor, the undersigned have formed themselves into a Committee for the purpose of examining into a proposed Ordinance entitled "the Contagious Diseases Ordinance of 1867" and its applicability for the better suppression of venereal disease in this Colony.
2.
A draft of the proposed Ordinance has been submitted to the Committee with a letter from His Excellency to the Naval Commander-in-Chief on the same subject.
