that the Colony
may
be subjected
to much loss and
inconvenience
by
unnecessary
delay
& from that subject, and
I most respectfully request you will call
their attention to
Mr Robinson's
letter of the
3rd Nov 1866 in which
the Subject was first
brought to their
Lordships' notice
&
my subsequent
letters of the 24 May,
11 July, & 18 Sept
last. From
that date to the
present there is no increased
probability of the
profitable working of the
mine on its present footing.
