was
examined
by the Registrar General,
and it
was
elicited that she had run away from her Master,

Lee, who holds
a prost
in the

Chief Justice
and
this
was
alleged ill treatment.
San Nee avowed that she
willingly
came to Wongtong,
and
was
met
on her arrival: here she
was
found
by a
man
who cannot
be found.
The girl protests strongly
against being
sent back to Canton,
and expresses a wish to continue
her
present mode of living.
Under these circumstances
His Excellency desires me to add, he
is advised that he has
no
power
to send the girl, Sun Nee back
to Canton.
