Special Report of Piracy.
Leving a Ling, Master of the NJ Lee Junk
boo piratical capacity, reports
that
on
the 10th
instant he left Hongkong for Lui Shan
& near Hoi Nam with
a crew of
11 men, and two
passengers
and
a cargo of 15 chests
of Opium and 80
pieces of Calico. He touched at Macao
where he took in 1½ chests of opium and

pieces of calico - On the 14th instant when
off
No Shan || te big he
was
attacked by
2 piratical boats and boarded. He was
fired at and the fire returned without effect on
either side. All hands jumped overboard and escaped with the exception
of the two passengers
