"Ling-Sorg" + West Coast in company with his other junks named "Woo-hop-lee" and "Teng-Kwong-leer" and arrived at

the above mentioned place on 27th same month and anchored outside the harbour, at 5 P.M. same day his boat was attacked accompanied by the two junks with him, and another junk that was "Ling-Soog" from ... at anchor near each of the boats several shots were fired, and a number of armed men then boarded and took her, placing the crew under hatches; they then plundered the boat of the 5 Chests of opium, 5 Cannons, 3 ficals, Gunpowder and one ... mchon. The value of the property stolen is about $4,200.
The Pirates then released the crew and junk, two of the crew of the captured junk missing, either they were killed or carried away with them. Informant can identify some of the pirates and the junk and begs that the authorities will dispatch one of H.M. Gun boats in quest of the Pirates and junks.
