Piracy
Chong Rivie, a Kure, master of a passage boat trading between Houghing & Wong Hong 黃崗, on the 19th instant, having a cargo of 3 bullocks, 4 pigs, 2 piculs of Poultry, 4 piculs of Salt and other market articles, he left Wongting at 3 P.M. At midnight the same day when off Moh To See Moon was inside Hop chii moon, 4 large boats of Hakow size, 2 masts each, threw shink pots and fired muskets.
