"The Minutes of the Council held on the 10th instant, are read and confirmed.

"His Excellency The Governor refers the case of the Convict Lee Kro-bing (3.5.0.1/512) and 3 others who, at the last Meeting of the Council, were left for execution on the same instant (to-morrow), and states that, from personal examination of the Prisoners this morning and inquiries previously instituted by the Superintendent of the Jail, it appeared that the 4th Prisoner, Dr-d-on, was not actually concerned in the Piracy, and the circumstance of his being on board is explained by the free Medical man profession and had been engaged by his fellow Prisoners to attend the wounded woman on board after the commission of the Piracy.

"At the same time the Superintendent informs the Council that the information which he had received left no doubt on his mind of the Prisoner having been a frequent confederate of Pirates and engaged in other sets of Piracy.
