Chapter 86 and is intended to permit advances to trading Firms and receipt of interest on the same varying according to the rate of profits without necessarily making the parties advancing such sums liable to

any greater extent for the losses of such trading Firms than the amount of those advances.

I conceive that the principle of this Legislation is equitable and calculated to promote the useful diffusion of Capital and I see no reason why Her Majesty's Subjects, trading here

dealing with Firms trading in England should not be

placed on the

same

footing

as when
