Captain Barry, Royal Engineers, presents his compliments to the Surveyor General and calls his attention to the fact that the Coolie Song who have long been given permission temporarily to obtain Gravel from Scandal Pass have undermined it.

He therefore requests that these portions now overhanging be brought down, and orders issued to prevent a recurrence of the act complained of.
