The Ordinance does not prescribe the publication of the appointment in the Gazette, and bring in the usual and authorized form there appears to be no necessity for its precedent for the publication of these temporary appointments in the Gazette.

If so, due date being the 12th the day of the date of the information in judicial seisin that the appointment lasted. Was it in fact prior to the signing by Mr Ball of this information?

Answer: Certainly - Mr Ball could sign at once the day of appointment. It is reasonable and usual for an office to act on the date of his appointment. Had Mr Ball done so on the 11th I could have upheld the objection, but he did not.
