St. 327, for a passage and a pension.
This man had served six years and 5 months; his conduct is reputed very good, and he is disabled, as the enclosed Medical certificate will show, by a wound received in the discharge of duty.
Under Section XII of Ordinance No. 9 of 1862, he has been offered and has accepted the sum of $110, and I have to ask Your Lordship's sanction for this expenditure, as it is more economical than finding him a passage to Bombay with a gratuity in addition.
I have the honor to be Your Lordship's most obedient servant.
Robert F. Mordeny, Governor.
