in operation

Schedule C-shows the different services in Connection with the sea wall at Kowloon. This large work carried out at the expense of the Crown Tenants, and is now in a forward state. Marine Lots 1, 2, 4, 12, and 26 have been resumed by the Government as necessary to complete the reclamation of those Lots as required by the leases; and it consequently becomes necessary to reclaim the adjoining land. This was not done as long as the land was in the hands of Crown Tenants, as it could not be reclaimed.

Marine Lots 19, 20, and 21 belong to a Chinaman who refuses to comply with the terms of the erection of a sea wall in front of his Lots. As far as the advice of the Attorney General is concerned, the service is being executed by the Government. And when completed, the Tenant will be sued for the cost of the same. Schedule D shows the probable expenditure by the Crown during the current year for Materials already ordered.
