of which The vision should be made in Charter or Legislative enactments relating to the Incorporation of Banking companies in the Colony will be embodied in the Deed of Settlement as provided by Section X (subsection V) and the same observation also applies to the 12th clause and all other clauses of the Regulations in question which will be embodied in the Deed either by order of the Governor or pursuant to one of the Subsections of Sec. X.

The Lords of the Treasury under a misapprehension in supposing that the operations of the Bank are at present confined to this Colony: the Company since its first establishment has had a Branch and carried on Business at Shanghai.
