The Lords of the Treasury having
signified that an Ordinance framed upon the model of the Asiatic Banking Corporation's Charter, a copy of which
they transmitted, would be satisfactory, that suggestion
was carried out subject
to such modification as the limited powers of this Legislature rendered necessary.
