They will not object to the Estimate
for the year 1867,
as submitted in
Hong Kong on the your letter of the 13th instant or to the Confirmation of the Ordinance No. 10 of 1866
intituled "An Ordinance enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice of the Legislative
Council thereof, to apply
a sum not exceeding £29,000, to the public service of the year
1867, subject to such decision as may
be hereafter arrived at in reference to the Dispatch of the Secretary of State
